Longview's Daisy Mae

This is me when I was about 12 months old. Now I'm almost 18 months old, but I still have my girlish good looks!! I was born on May 5, 1997 in Holden, Maine, at a place called Longview Kennel. My Labramom is Longview's Hillside Heidi and my Labradad is Killingworth's Jonah. Both of my parents are fab-labulous, so I was destined to be gorgeous!! My mom posed for the L.L. Bean catalog and my granddad was in a hollywood movie.

I go to the Huntsville Obedience Training Club. I just started Novice and it's a lot harder than Sub-Novice... Mom's always telling me to pay attention, and shape up, and stuff like that, but we still have lots of fun in class. Sometimes I make the whole class laugh at us, well, Mom says they are laughing at us, I say they're laughing with us!! I really like this new clicker thing that Mom is doing cause I get lots of treats when that happens. I am going to school to learn to be a Therapy Dog after I pass Novice, or when I turn 2 years old. Mom says at the rate we're going, I'll be 3 before we pass Novice. But she's just kiddin' around cause she gives me lots of kisses when she says it!!

I LOVE TO PLAY! And I NEVER met anyone who wasn't meant to be my friend. Mom says I'm way too happy for my own good, that not everyone wants sloppy wet kisses from me, and that I'm a high energy labbie... I think that means she loves me and that playing endlessly is a very good thing. My favorite games are retrieving, especially in the water, Mom says that's good 'cause I'm a water dog; frisbee, hide-and-go-seek with mom, labrasoccer and labratackle with Lily, and also labrawrestling with Lily, which apparently is not allowed on the couch, in the waterbed, under the computer desk, or in mom's lap!! My favorite toy is my Kong, especially when mom fills it with peanut butter and treats!! Check out this Kong site for more interesting ways to stuff a Kong--your Labbie will love you for it!!

Labra-Brags: I am featured in a painting by renowned wildlife artist, Larry Chandler, titled "Duckin' Out," I'm the puppy on the bottom. It is curently being released by the Franklin Mint in their "From Pup to Champion" labrador retriever series, and the prints are available from Larry Chandler, Hartselle, Alabama. My mom is VERY PROUD OF ME!!
